Traditional

Thai Massage

About This Service:

Traditional Thai Massage is designed primarily to help restore balance and harmony within the body’s energy system.

One of the distinctive features of Thai Massage is that therapists use more than just their fingers. Depending on the technique, the feet, knees, palms and elbows may also be used to apply pressure and perform various massage movements.

The treatment also incorporates characteristic stretching techniques, which are intended to improve flexibility and mobility and may sometimes result in gentle joint popping. The aim is to stimulate specific physiological pressure points, release tension and stiffness, and help relieve muscular discomfort. The overall goal is to promote a more flexible, supple and relaxed physical condition.

Traditional Thai Massage is a dry massage performed without oil. The guest wears loose linen trousers and a linen shirt during the treatment. The massage is performed on a massage table.

Good to Know:

A massage requires and uses physical energy. To allow the body sufficient time to recover and regenerate, we recommend allowing a minimum interval of 36 hours between massage appointments.

Restrictions:

Massage treatments are generally not recommended in cases of skin conditions, open wounds, inflammation, fractures, or pregnancies involving complications. If you are unsure whether this treatment is suitable for you, please consult your doctor or healthcare professional beforehand.

Foot

Reflexology Massage

About This Service:

Foot Reflexology is an ancient Chinese healing practice that has been used in Asia for more than 3,000 years.

The treatment is traditionally believed to stimulate the activity of the internal organs and support their proper functioning. It is also intended to promote balance within the lymphatic system and blood circulation, while supporting overall physical condition and stamina.

During the treatment, the therapist uses their fingers, hands and specially designed wooden massage sticks, together with cream and oil.

Foot Reflexology is traditionally associated with supporting the body’s natural defenses, promoting detoxification and revitalisation, and contributing to overall wellbeing and vitality.

Aroma

Oil Massage

About This Service:

Aroma Oil Massage is designed to promote relaxation and stimulate blood circulation throughout the body. The aromatic oils provide an additional sensory experience through both their fragrance and application to the skin.

Because the body is treated with oil, certain techniques used in Traditional Thai Massage are omitted or modified. The smooth application of the oil allows the therapist to perform flowing massage movements that can help relax the body and leave the skin feeling soft, supple and smooth.

Aromatherapy adds an additional dimension to the treatment, engaging both the sense of touch and the sense of smell.

A selection of oils with different fragrances is available, including:

* Eucalyptus * Rose * Jasmine * Orange * Lemongrass * Mint * Lavender

Herbal

Compress Massage

About This Service:

Herbal Compress Massage combines selected techniques of Traditional Thai Massage with the application of warm herbal compresses.

The herbal compress is heated with steam and applied to the body during the treatment. The warmth of the steam, together with the natural herbal oils and active ingredients released from the herbs, is traditionally used to stimulate blood circulation, relax muscles and ease stiff joints.

The treatment is particularly suitable for promoting relaxation and helping to soothe tired or tense muscles and joints. The warm herbal compress provides a refreshing and revitalising sensation, especially after physical exertion or when the muscles and joints have been under significant strain.

The herbal compress contains more than 15 different herbs, carefully combined according to traditional Thai herbal practices.
